InPalworld, there are a variety of Syndicate Thug Bases spread across the various islands. These Bases are filled with hostile opponents wielding various weapons, usually guns. Attacking these Bases not only enables you to take out the enemy but also provides a valuable opportunity to collect a small supply of ammunition, especially during the early stages of the game.
However, this is not the only opportunity or use that Syndicate Thug Bases provide to the player. When visiting, you may notice that there is a Pal trapped in a metal cage, looking very unhappy. Fortunately, there is the possibility of setting these trapped Pals free andclaiming some valuable materialsat the same time.
How to Free Trapped Pals at Syndicate Thug Bases in Palworld
To free Pals trapped in cages in Palworld, you will first need to track down the location of one or more of the various Syndicate Thug Bases spread throughout the islands. From here, the best move is to take to combat and wipe out the base of any occupants, as all individuals within these areas will be hostile towards yourself, your Pals, and any poorwild Palswho stumble into their territory.
Thankfully, with a weapon or two and knowledge of somehandy combat tips, you should be able to take care of these enemies with no problem, as long as they are around the same level as yourself or lower.
After you’ve wiped out the Syndicate Thug Base from any inhabitants, you will now be free to approach the metal cage that each one has, used to hold various Pals as prisoners. To free these trapped Pals, you can simply walk up to the cage and hold the F key until the unlock bar is full.
After this, the cage will open, and the Pal will go free - well, sort of. Instead of returning to the wild, these Pals will be added to your collection and can now be made into active members of your party or workers at your Base. Lastly, you will also receive a set ofmaterial dropsfrom these Pals, much like you would have if you had caught any other wild species.
