Often having an image of an elderly woman in holy garb, personas of this Arcana are always feminine figures with an association with magic or knowledge, such as witches, spirits, or even goddesses from the many religions and cultures in the real world. Many of these Personas possess great support and healing skills, which make them very useful if Joker’s party needs some more longevity.

This title features an incredible story that is wrapped up in a beautiful package, with its frenetic combat also being quite engaging. Of course, it would be impossible to talk about Persona 5 Royal without talking about the many Personas that Joker can add to his arsenal.

Makoto Niijima in Persona 5

Personas of the Priestess Arcana are pretty great at both dishing out damage and healing the party if need be. It helps that one of the best characters in the game, Makoto, also employs a bunch of Personas from the same Arcana. Here are all the Personas from this Arcana ranked on the basis of how powerful they are, with a special mention for the student council president too.

10Makoto’s Personas

Makoto Niijima isone of the best party members in the game, with her unique Persona making her quite memorable indeed. It helps that the relationship she shares with her sister Sae makes her even more of a compelling character, especially when the Phantom Thieves decide to invoke a change of heart within this prosecutor after she goes off the deep end during her investigation.

Makoto goes through three Personas during the course of the game, with later evolutions being pretty dependent on how often the player interacted with her throughoutPersona 5.

Johanna

The first Persona that Makoto reveals is definitely one of the most iconic Personas in the entire series. The typically reserved student council president reveals a Persona in the form of a bike to show off a rebellious side that has been repressed for the longest time. The Nuclear powers of this Persona coupled with its healing and defensive potential make Johanna a pretty great Persona indeed.

Anat

After leveling up Makoto’s Confidant to the max, she undergoes a change of heart and strengthens her resolve. This leads to the rise of Anat, a humanoid version of Johanna. This upgraded version of her Persona completely blocks all Nuclear damage and is pretty resistant to Curse as well.

Agnes

Persona 5 Royaladded an additional awakened Persona foreach main party memberthat could be triggered in the final semester, as long as everyone’s Confidant was at Level 10. Makoto is no exception to this rule, with players being able to unlock the third version of her Persona, Agnes, after spending time with her. This Persona gains the Checkmate ability, reducing all stats of all foes for three turns. The fact that it reverts back to a motorcycle design is also a plus.

9Silky

This not-so-spooky spirit is known to support one’s household as a friendly fairy as opposed to the many in European folklorewho simply wish to cause mischief. The only ones who need to fear Silky are lazy servants that slack off, as she finds this offensive and terrorizes those of such sloth-like behavior.

At level 6, she is the weakest of the personas in the Priestess Arcana, though can still offer healing skills and the removal of status ailments. She can be fused from Agathion and Jack-o'-Lantern for ¥5,275.

8Apsaras

Apsaras is a celestial dancer that is often associated with soothing and rhythmic motions meant to ease the minds of both the fallen and deities alike. As such, they perform similar feats inP5Rin that they possess many skills that create shields that protect allies from Ice, Electric, and Wind damage.

She is a level 11 persona that can be fused by combining Obariyon and Bicorn for the low price of ¥7,966.

7Koh-I-Noor

As with all treasure demons that one can encounter, Koh-i-Noor has some unique traits that can make it quite handy to have in one’s party. Although it has no offensive skills, all of its innate ones double evasiveness against every kind of damage type in the game (except the Almighty element).

Also like its kin, this level 25 persona cannot be fused from others and must be foundwhile wandering Mementosorwithin a palace.

6Isis

Famous for being one of the most well-known Egyptian goddesses, Isis is known as a deity overseeing nature and magic as well as being a protector and consoler of the dead. Being so closely tied to the deceased, herPersona 5 Royalincarnation appropriately hasskills pertaining to death.

Many of her skills revolve around using instant death attacks of the Bless-type, and she even has a passive one that increases the odds of these deadly moves being successful. At level 26, she is one of the earliest attainable personas with such proficiency in swift death-dealing attacks. She can be merged from Jack Frost and Kodama for ¥13,600.

5Kikuri-Hime

In addition to being a goddess of life in Japanese mythology, Kikuri-Hime is seen as a deity presiding over matchmaking and relationships. This makes her appearance in this game feel very right as she has skills that pertain to easing a party member’s confusion, despair, or rage ailments.

Her trait, Relief Bloodline, increases the efficiency of her support skills by reducing their SP cost by a generous 50%. This level 40 persona can be polymerized from Lamia and Take-Minakata for ¥47,350.

4Sarasvati

Sarasvati is one of the three most powerful female deities that form the trifecta of goddesses in Hindu mythology known as the Tridevi, alongside Lakshmi and Parvati. She is a patron of creativity and deep thought, which makes artists, poets, and scientists alike revere her.

She possesses the immensely useful Diarahan skill, which fully restores health to a single ally, making her a great persona to have in Joker’s party, regardless of the situation. Although there are cheaper fusions for this level 50 goddess, the least expensive one that is guaranteed to call her forth is the one that combines Kumbhanda and Legion for ¥100,990.

3Skadi

This ancient being is the embodiment of winter and as such is extremely relevant to Norse folk who inhabit lands that can get bitterly cold. Accordingly, one of her most notable skills inPersona 5 Royalis one that unleashes heavy Ice damage to all foes at the same time which also has low odds of freezing them in their tracks.

She also has a rare Almighty skill that lets her leech precious SP from a single target, which can be handy if the player is inone of the bigger palaces. Level 53 Skadi can be summoned by fusing Garuda and Rangda for ¥152,110.

2Scathach

A powerful figure in European mythology who was said to be the legendary warrior Cu Chulainn’s mentor, as well as much more. Her lore is tied to that of the Norse giantess Skadi in some regards, though even modern scholars have a hard time determining the origin of this connection.

At level 77, Scathach is one of the most powerful personas in the Priestess Arcana and proves this with her severe physically damaging skill, Vorpal Blade, that devastates the entire enemy party in a single slash. She can be fused from Okuninushi and Barong for ¥169,390.

1Cybele

This goddess from Greek mythology is renowned as a protector of cities, though she is also associated with wildlife and vegetation. Cybele isthe strongest personain the Priestess Arcana at level 83 and has some of the best support and healing skills in the entire game, one of which is Salvation, which fully heals the entire party as well as removes all non-special status ailments from them.

To get her on one’s side, players will need to first max out their social link with Makoto Niijima, the confidant for this Arcana. After that, they’ll be able to summon Cybele with a great number of fusion recipes, though the cheapest is the one that merges Alilat and Macabre for ¥344,728.
