Last month’sPlayStation Nowtitles were some of its biggest to date, withRed Dead Redemption 2headlining the lineupalongsideNioh 2andJudgment.With the month wrapped up, it seems Sony is gearing up to offer a lineup of new titles for August, with the roster including another batch of big names.
This month, players will be able to hop intoGhostrunner, Nier Automata,andUndertalewith aPS Nowsubscription, with all three games arriving tomorrow, August 3. BothGhostrunnerandUndertalewill be available on the service for the foreseeable future, whileNier Automatawill leave on November 1.

Ghostrunneris the most recent game of the trio, launching last year. It takes place in a dystopian sci-fi world seeing players dash around large environments with a katana, slicing up enemies as they avoid bullets and use the game’s titular protagonist’s acrobatics to conquer levels. It’s a good time to jump into the title considering it’s getting a sequel,with One More Level currently in the early stages of developing aGhostrunner 2.
Nier Automata,on the other hand, launched back in 2017 to a ton of acclaim. The title is a sci-fi, post-apocalyptic adventure following protagonists 2B and 9S, a pair of androids fighting back against alien machines ravaging the world. In the years since its release,Automatahas gone on to be hailed by critics and fans alike, with many celebrating its fun combat, rich world, and surprising story.
Finally, Toby Fox’sUndertalehas quickly become a classic in the years since its launch back in 2015, seeing players descend into an underworld filled with monsters. What follows is a very different RPG than what players might expect, as they’re forced to decide whether to befriend the various creatures residing in the underground kingdom or eradicate them. Their choices will affect the story and their relationship with key characters significantly, leading to an array of endings. The game has been hailed for its quirky comedy, unique combat, catchy music, and more over the years, with Toby Fox currently working ona sequel known asDeltarune.
