A prolific artist who lovesPokemonhas recently created a new future form for Mudkip, which is inspired by Pochita fromChainsaw Man. Ever since the release ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet, the franchise’s community has embraced makingPokemonfan art of Paradox forms, reimagining iconic creatures as both past and future versions.
Mudkip is one of the three starters in thethird generation ofPokemongames. The Water-type creature evolves into Marshtomp starting at Level 16, which can become a Swampert by Level 36, and it’s among the most popular creatures in its generation. Pochita, on the other hand, is the Chainsaw devil inChainsaw Man. The little dog-like creature is among the most important characters of the popular anime franchise, as it gives the protagonist Denji its powers.
Now, aPokemonfan called HertzBurst has unveiled Iron Saw, a future Paradox form for Mudkip. This creature is a small Water/Fighting-type beast that looks like a robotic Mudkip with a big chainsaw head. Aside from the chainsaw, the new design also comes with a metallic-like skin that resembles a machine, as well as cheeks that light up.

This is not the first time that HertzBurst has created an amazing Paradox form, as the artist has designed several impressive artworks before. For example, HertzBurst devised aParadox form for Flygonlast year. This creation was known as Iron Wings, and it was a Bug/Dragon-type critter that kept Flygon’s most iconic features largely intact but had a metal body. The artwork was also showcased together with a shiny form, which was silver instead of green.
Mudkip also appears often in the works of other artists besides HertzBurst. For instance, another creator devised ahuman form for Mudkip and its evolutionslast year. In this case, the artist transformed Mudkip, Marshtomp, and Swampert into cute anime-like girls. While the first two forms looked like young kids, the third one was featured as an adult woman who resembled a pirate.
Another amazing artwork featuring Mudkip appeared earlier this year, afusion between Mudkip and Lucario. This new form was shaped like a human-sized Mudkip, maintaining most of the character’s features while still using some of Lucario’s details, such as having several black stripes on its body or legs that look like blue pants. Hopefully, the Pokemon community will continue to devise creative versions of Mudkip and other Gen 3 creatures, as this continues to be one of the most popular generations in the franchise.
