APokemonfan has shared a video showing off an incredible newPokemon-themed pinball machine made by their dad that includes tons of merchandise from the franchise. ThePokemon Pinballseries has fallen by the wayside over the years as otherPokemontitles likeLegends: Arceus,Sword and Shield, and more have come out. However, this fan has a pinball machine of their own that wouldn’t look out of place in the retro games.

The lastPokemon Pinballgame to release was on the Game Boy Advance, and it launched back in 2003 and later received a Virtual Console port on the Wii U in 2014. Reddit user Bosgetti recently shared a brief clip of theirPokemonpinball machine that is covered from bottom to top inPokemon-themed products, including trading cards, plushes, and Poke Ball replicas. Given that there hasn’t been an update to thePokemon Pinballseries in quite some time, Bosgetti may replicate the experience on their new pinball machine, which has mostly unchanged mechanics in order to properly simulate the games.

Bosgetti’s clip of their pinball machine begins by circling around it from the front, highlighting the score screen that has impressive fan art of an iconicAsh Ketchumpose behind his most popular Pokemon, Pikachu. Near the front of the case is a Pokedex, and there are 15 different types of Poke Balls inside the pinball machine, with a Love Ball, Mast Ball, Sport Ball, and Park Ball clearly visible inside the case. Underneath the coin slots required to activate a game of pinball are the first glimpses ofPokemontrading cards and a Poke Ball sticker that further limits the available space on the exterior of the machine.

Panning to the right side of thePokemonpinball machine, multiple generations of trading cards are represented, from a couple ofPokemonGen 1 setsto the more recent packs, which are further emphasized by eightPokemonTCG tins stacked on the top of the unit. Bridging the gap between these two stacks of tins is aPokemon TCGsign that would look familiar in a hobby or game shop, with Pikachu, Charmander, and Snorlax stuffies filling the empty space underneath it. The rear of thePokemonpinball machine has the most legiblePokemontrading cards of all the surfaces, with Foongus, Gastly, Wigglytuff, a Rare Candy, and much more clearly on display. The left side of the unit mirrors the other, but it includesPokemoncards like Caterpie, Magikarp, Kangaskhan, and Seedot, as opposed to Chansey, Voltorb, Tangela, and Weepinbell.

While manyPokemonfans expressed their appreciation for the creativity behind the pinball machine, one particular response celebrated the use of transparent panels to highlightPokemontrading cardsas a “genius idea.”
