After a bit of a breather, it is finally time forPokemon GOfans to dive into what is likely going to be the final big event of the Season of Legends. Late April and early May brought thefirst half of the Luminous Legends event, but now it is time for Yveltal to swoop down and bring Luminous Legends Y Parts 1 and 2 with it.
Things kick off today withthe start of Luminous Legends Y Part 1. This is a pretty massive event andPokemon GOplayers are going to have a bit of time to enjoy it. The festivities span Tuesday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 07, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. During that window, trainers will be racing around take advantage of special spawns, Raid Bosses, and Egg hatches while completing the event’s limited timed research tasks and earning some very exciting rewards.

Trainers who like to plan ahead may want to study up on everything the event has to offer before heading out into their local communities to get started. There are a ton of special features and it’ll take a bit of time to really collect everything that is up for grabs. There’s a lot to take in there, but that should be everything trainers need to know to get started on the event this week. Remember to let the Timed Research take priority and use those tasks and goals as an indicator about what to concentrate on if things are feeling overwhelming. Reaching the end of the chain will lead to some solid rewards, so it should be worth the grind for most players.
