For fans who have been hoping for compatibility with the storage app since the launch ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet, the wait is finally over and players will now get to transfer their favorite pocket creatures to and from the cloud.Many fans seem to be waiting for the compatibility update betweenPokemon Scarlet and VioletandPokemon Home. In fact, the feature has been so highly anticipated thatleaks of thePokemon Homepatchwere even shared online. Adding fuel to the fire, The Pokemon Company also made a recent online mishap, mistakenly sharing the wrong release date for the update on its social media channels. In a previous tweet, the company mistakenly said that the update would be available on June 19, 2025. According to the social media post,Pokemon Homewill be in maintenance from May 29, 5:00 PM Pacific Time and this could extend until May 30, 11:00 PM Pacific Time. This means that players will not be able to access the app for any transfers and should wait until maintenance is over before they attempt to get into their accounts.
Given that the previous release date is only six days away from the official one, players are likely satisfied with how efficiently the situation was handled, especially since many have been waiting to get their hands on the promisedPokemon Scarlet and Violetstarter rewardsfor transferring pocket creatures toPokemon Home.
