With version 1.808.0.0, thePC port ofRatchet & Clank: Rift Apartwill now support ray-tracing features on capable AMD GPUs. This update also makes improvements to ray-traced reflections and ray-traced shadows, while resolving a crashing issue that occurred when playing it on legacy CPUs. The new update forRatchet & Clank: Rift Apartfixes corrupted text that appeared on waypoints, in addition to visual issues in Newsprint and Home Move rendering modes. Finally, update 1.808.0.0 forRatchet & Clank: Rift Apart’s PC port fixes bugs and improves the overall stability of the game.
It appears that the PC version ofRatchet & Clank: Rift Aparthas been generally well-received, especially when compared to thePC port ofThe Last of Us Part 1. Still, it looks like there were some issues present in the game that will now get rectified with the release of this update.
Nixxes Software had previously releasedupdate 1.728.0.0 forRatchet & Clank: Rift Apart, with the aim of fixing some bugs and resolving other issues present in the title. As an example, this patch addressed problems related to texture streaming inRift Apart, in addition to visual issues with water reflections. It also fixed an issue that caused the interact button prompt to remain visible on players’ screens.
