A YouTuber by the name of Teenenggr divised a way to make the player physically feel like they are riding a horse inRed Dead Redemption 2. By attatching pistons to the bottom of the table legs on their desk and running a program that correlates the horse’s movements in-game to the movements of the pistons, the desk gives off movement similar to how a horse actually moves. Despite how goofy it looks, in a way, it likely does help to put the player in the shoes ofArthur Morgan.
This is a truly creative and fun way to experienceRed Dead Redemption 2. It’s amazing to see what fans can accomplish when given the correct inspiration. The sheer amount of engineering that went into this realistic horse riding simulation is astounding and plenty of other internet users have accomplished similar feats with different games and resources. For instance, one player managed to beatDark Souls 3via bananas.
DespiteRed Dead Redemption 2being nearly three years old, it’s exciting to see that players are still finding ways to appreciate the game in new ways. Not to mention the impressive number of gameplay details that players are still discovering to this day. Take, for example, one player discoveringfake beggars inRed Dead Redemption 2.
However, the future ofRed Dead Redemptionis fairly uncertain. While the bulk of newRed Dead Redemptioncontent has come in the form ofRed Dead Online,many fans have speculated that there will be a remake of the originalRed Dead Redemptionat some point in the future. Though, Rockstar Games has yet to officially confirm the development of any such remake.
