Remnant: From the Ashes, released in 2019, is an action-RPG that takes elements from theDark Soulsseries. Rather than a single-player, melee combat experience,Remnant:From the Ashesutilizes a variety of guns, while also allowing players to team up in parties of three with the difficulty scaling based on the number of players.
In less than a year, the game exceeded internal expectations by selling over 1 million copies while also recieving praise from fans and critics alike. It was popular enough to receive a next-gen port,releasing on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in May of 2021. Now, it seemsRemnant: From the Asheswill be expanding its reach to the Nintendo Switch as well. As the Switch continues to be an extremely popular console, Nintendo have been collaborating with developers in order to port games on to the handheld console.
