Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtreeadds many new sorceries for players to find, such asRings of Spectral Light. Instead of being a straightforward damage sorcery like many other options, this spell isn’t just based on intelligence and can be more helpful than just dealing damage.

Exploration inShadow of the Erdtreeis critical due to theneed for Scadutree Fragments, and this exploration will also lead to players getting all sorts of new items and gear that can help players deal with the difficult bosses found throughout the DLC. Due to the higher difficulty of the DLC, it’s highly recommended players use things found in the DLC to make the various boss fights more manageable.

Where To Find Rings Of Spectral Light In Shadow Of The Erdtree

The Rings Of Spectral Light spell can be found by starting at the Charo’s Hidden Grave Site of Grace, with players first needing toreach Charo’s Hidden Grave. From here, go back down the river slightly southeast.Cross the river and look left to see the hill going above the Site of Graceand head up. Following the path up that hill, players will be led to a small stone platform with the statue of a bird.

Flanking both sides of the statue will be two birds that will attack the player once they get too close, but staying on Torrent can make them easily avoided. On the ground at the center of the stone platformwill be theRings of Spectral Light.

Requirements

This is one of the few sorceries that requires players to put a few points inFaith to use. Despite the Faith requirement, thedamage done by this spell is still Magic. Like most sorceries, players can charge up the cast for this spell in order to greatly increase its damage and build-up.

One of the bigger selling points forthis spell is that itdeals frost build-up. While not everything is weak to frost, it is one of the few weaknesses of Bayle, one of the hardest bosses in theShadow Of The ErdtreeDLC. When built up, Frost does a decent bit of damage but also temporarily lowers the defense of the enemy. This spell offers one of the few options for those wanting to build up frost on an enemy from a safe distance.
