Of course, it helps that the developer continues to churn out new collectibles, cars, and cosmetics, along with a rotating set of events and new features like thenewbie-friendly Mutator Madness.
July 2022 alone has seen the release of James Bond’s sleek Aston Martin and a couple WWE-themed decals. As such, it seemed like a good idea to revisit and rev up this list with more of the best car decals players can flash.
Decals marked ascommonwill be unlocked upon acquiring the specific Body tailored to it.
Going Decal-less
Starting things with a twist, this one might be the most deadly look inRocket League: no decals. This one is for the ones who are extremely skilled at the game and breathe air dribbles. Imagine going in without a paint job, just a regular orange or blue color, and dominating every opponent.
There’s nothing more intimidating and flashy than not caring about the looks at all, letting the gameplay do the talking. Only the most intimidatingly talented players can pull this one off.
15Slurpee
As part of a unique 7-11 promo, players who purchased items at that convenient store were granted aRocket Leaguecode, which could be redeemed for this highly ‘fluid’ decal. Vibrant, colorful, and detailed in its free-flowing animation, this is just a fun one to look at—even if it resembles a lava lamp more than 7-11’s iconic slushy drink.
As a neat little bonus, the car actually releases small drips when zipping through the arena long enough. Customize the car with some harsh, contrasting colors to really make this one stand out.
14WWE Roman Reigns
Rocket Leaguehas had its share of promos and crossovers during its long history; one of which comes in the form of some WWE-branded cosmetics. Along with the prominent John Cena, the game now features a particularly sleek decal themed after pro wrestling champ Roman Reigns.
The wrestler’s iconography just makes for some cool imagery to affix to one’s car. TheSpiderman-esque “RR” logo and one of Reigns' nicknames, “head of the table,” are boldly painted on the Octane, making for some cool, intimidating visuals.
13Torrent
Being a favorite among esports and competitive gamers, it’s no surprise that there are several unique decals adorned by variousRocket Leagueteams. One of the prettiest has to come from esports organization Torrent (formerly alpine Esports).
The North American team flashes their gaming skills in style with their simple-yet-appealing logo design. The black and neon scheme, wrought with flashy streaks, fits the sleek, boxy Dominus cars like a glove. The ‘away’ kit just might be even more appealing, as it reverses the colors, boldly putting the neon green front and center.
12Chameleon
Initially part of theVictory Blueprint in late 2019,this illusive decal has become very rare since, which is unfortunate given its stunning 3D detail and awesome appearance. With its shiny finish and splotchy, busy design, the Chameleon is one of those decals that just looks great with most color schemes—though shades of green would probably be most fitting.

Those seeking it will have to hope for ample luck, as there’s a mere1% chanceof landing one inside acrate.However, in staying true to its name, this is a universal decal, so it can be affixed to any car.
11Gold
No matter what season it is, the gold decals always stand out. The color gold is pretty unique in itself, as it is not present in the game’s color palettes. Using a combination of yellow and a good finish will never make it look truly golden, which is why the gold decal stands out so much. Moreover, it’s a great way to look completely different from everyone else, using green, blues, or reds.
One downside of gold is that it sometimes becomes confusing if the player belongs to the blue team or the orange one. But if the player can manage to overcome that, this decal is epic. After all, who doesn’t like the bling? Players involved in the Competitive playlists duringSeason 12were able to score this one as a season-ending reward.
10Flames
The Flames may be a generic design from a perspective that’s looking for something different. But it is a classic, and always rocks on muscle cars. Using thiscommondecal might not garner much attention, but it will surely make one look like a supersonic acrobatic hotshot.
Flames is the kind of vintage design that people would find on a destruction derby car or something from a stunt race vehicle —in other words, it’s perfect forRocket League. Unlike gold, players can opt for multiple color combinations in Flames and make it look cool, with red-yellow being the most authentic.
9Fire God
Taking the already cool, fiery design of Flames and turning up the heat, the Fire God is a rare decal that’s worth seeking, with its fluid, dynamic design that’s hypnotically alluring. This one is universal, which makes sense as it makes almost any car look awesome and intimidating. The godly decal is sure to draw attention with its luminous nature, and can help players catch fire during a heated battle.

8Stripes
A fast-paced muscle carwith stripes is one of the mostcommonstyles in the world of racing. Thus, the Stripes fromRocket Leaugego brilliantly with vehicles such as Dominus. It is like a match made in heaven, and truly has a minimal yet classy look.
By using this common decal, players are sure to feel like Dominic Toretto from the Fast & Furious franchise. However, that shouldn’t be an excuse for demo-ing everyone in the match. The Stripes also go well with Octane, so go on and experiment and build the perfect custom style.
7Spatiotemporal
Blazing, colorful, and animated: These are the three words that describe Spatiotemporal. This limited animated decal can be extremely eye-catching during games. The best part about this is the animation speed and the unique color combinations that players can create.

This decal goes well with neon or glowing wheels, and looks especially cool with flashy trails. The one downside is that Spatiotemporal can be a little distracting during critical moments in normal games. However, it is a great one to use during competitive Rumble or Hoops. This one was only obtainable (for the moment) by reachingTier 22during Season 2.
6Unzipped
The biggest problem with Black Market decals is that they are highly inconsistent in quality. Some look unconditionally stunning, while others are just underwhelming. Unzipped is somewhere in-between, which is what makes it look so good. The smooth unzipping animation seems good on multiple vehicles, especially due to fully customizable colors.
Another great thing about Unzipped is that it’s a black market item and not many people are using it, meaning it’s pretty unique and stands out. The Breakout specifically looks super cool with this decal and can look even better with appropriate wheels, trails, and boost. Unzipped makes for an extremely rare find, as it holds just a1% chance of being in a crate.It was also aSeason 4 Tournament reward.
