There is a high likelihood thatGenshin Impactplayers can know which limited characters are coming in Version 4.5, as a reliable source in its community leaked the full lineup in a recent post. An important thing to note is that Version 4.5 is expected to bring Chiori toGenshin Impactas a 5-Star Geo Sword character, but the other 5-Stars that will be accompanying Chiori have remained a mystery up until now. Rumors of Albedo and Itto’s rerun began to crystallize amongGenshin Impactfans, but the fourth slot was shrouded in pure speculation.
A logical assumption was that either Shenhe or Ganyu would join the Event Banners in Version 4.5, given that Version 4.4 releasednew skins for the twoGenshin Impactcharacters. However, a recent leak suggests that HoYoverse has something else in mind for Version 4.5. Not only is it meant to be a smaller update, with a focus on Mondstadt through its Flagship Event, but it’s also slated to be a Geo-heavy patch, with Chiori leading the way.
The source of the leak is Randialos, who possesses recent credibility through correctly sharing the banners for Version 3.8 and Version 4.0, and it puts the full lineup ofGenshin Impactcharacters coming in Version 4.5 as thus: Chiori, Itto, Kazuha, Neuvillette, and Albedo. Given that Event Banners come in pairs, Randialos explains that Albedo would have a separate banner for himself, which lends further credibility to earlier leaks that suggested HoYoverse would be adding a new type of banner in Version 4.5.
What makes the Albedo situation in Version 4.5 so fascinating is that instead ofbirthday banners coming toGenshin Impact, it would seem that HoYoverse is going forward with a separate banner themed around the Flagship Event of a patch. Though it remains to be seen if Albedo will be the sole 5-Star option on the new banner type in Version 4.5, chances are that the featured 4-Star lineup will also differ from the regular Event Banners.
Leaked Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Banner Characters
Much like with Raiden Shogun and Kujou Sara, it can safely be assumed that Gorou will feature alongside Itto in the Event Banner. While players were hoping that Neuvillette would have his first rerun a bit further down the line, Sumeru’s banners had a similar cadence when it came to its limited 5-Star characters, with Cyno and Nahida rerunning only four updates after their debut.Neuvillette is a powerfulGenshin Impactcharacter, and Kazuha is a premium Support option for a wide variety of teams.
IfGenshin Impactplayers don’t feel too strongly about the current lineup for Version 4.4, stocking up on Primogems during the Lantern Rite patch would give them a respectable amount of funds by the time Neuvillette and Kazuha have their rerun. That being said,Arlecchino is coming inGenshin ImpactVersion 4.6, and spending pulls on a Fatui Harbinger is always worth the investment.
