Respawn’s Star Wars FPS Could Star A Mandalorian
Previous rumors claimed that this yet-untitled Respawn game would focus heavily on “mobility,” which Insider Gaming’s sources say will be done throughthe Mandalorian’s rocket jetpack. These sources describe this gameplay as “very fast-paced,” with rewards like increased health given to players who perform successive kill streaks. Mandalorians are also known for their weapons, and players will reportedly have access to a wrist rocket, a grapple hook, a visor for tagging enemies and bounties, and more.
According to Insider Gaming’s report, the supposed Mandalorian game will not feature an open world likethe upcomingStar Wars Outlaws, instead taking players through linear levels set on variousStar Warsplanets. This game is said to be in the early stages of development, with sources suggesting that it might be at least two more years before release. Assuming that this report is true at all, the timing for a MandalorianStar Warsgame couldn’t be better given the increased popularity of the masked mercenaries over the past couple of years.
