A skilled player was able to precisely shoot an arrow and land an incredible long-range headshot inThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimagainst an unsuspecting enemy in the wilderness.Skyrimplayers are still traversing the Nord homeland following the release of theAnniversary Edition, which includes an extensive suite of Creation Club content, features, and quests.

Skyrimrewards players who stick to the shadows with extra sneak attack damage. A variety of weapons, spells, and items are available to aid players who prefer stealth including daggers, the invisibility spell, and invisibility potions. However, those who prefer the bow and arrow may use distance to their advantage and stay out of the enemy’s sight entirely. If desired, stealthy archers inSkyrimmay also use a wealth of mods to enhance their overall experience as well.

In a Reddit post titled “I Took an Arrow to the Head,“Skyrimplayer Seabadger6000 lands an impressive long distance headshot on a witch with their Dwarven bow. Witches are normally found in theholds of Markarth and FalkreachinSkyrim, which are filled with rocky mountainsides and cold, dense forests. The terrain is advantageous for archers wanting to take out a target from a great distance or under the cover of trees. With a clear sight line toward his target, Seabadger6000 aimed the bow slightly above the target’s head to compensate for the game’s auto-aim and the arrow’s trajectory.

Dwarwen bows provide a decent amount of attack damage potential while being relatively inexpensive to craft or buy. Seabadger6000’s total headshot damage was doubled due to a successful sneak attack, bringing the bow’s base damage from 12 to 24 for the long-range shot. Depending on the arrow a player may use, the damage may be increased even further to take down more powerful targets. In Seabadger6000’s case, the arrow used was a Dwarwen arrow, which has the base damage stat of 14.

Seabadger6000’s masterful archery is a sight to behold, and its another indication ofSkyrimbeing a really enjoyable title nearly 11 years after the initial launch. Many ofSkyrim’sgameplay features stand the test of time and should be enhanced even further for the eventual release ofThe Elder Scrolls 6.

Skyrimis still home to plenty of bugs and glitches, but some players may believe these technical imperfections add to the game’s lasting charm.Recent glitches found inSkyriminclude fishes swimming in the air instead of fishing spots where players await their next catch in theAnniversary Edition.
