Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsplayers finally have access to the Blightcaller, and the game’s seventh class has turned out to be extremely interesting. Full of defensive abilities, companion boosts, and buffs to poison damage, the class is one that can benefit a variety of builds. However, though theBlightcalleris a welcome addition, many are hoping it is not the final class added to the game.
Considering how eight classes would make more sense forTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, as it would allow players to make four fully unique characters, many are hoping one more class will be added alongside some new story content. Though it remains to be seen if the Season Pass 2 requests will be met, and if another class will join the current lineup, Gearbox already has a perfect option for another class if it was interested: a Bard.

How a Bard Class Could Work In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ character customizationis a major highlight of the game, and if Gearbox wanted to, it could work this into the Bard class as well. Players could choose the type of music their character plays, with options ranging from heavy metal to jazz. Whenever they use a Bard-specific ability, their chosen music could play, letting gamers have a bit of extra control when it comes to what Bard they want to be.
Building off this idea, perhaps players could choose their own instrument, with this choice also resulting in different buffs. For example, a Lute could result in some defensive buffs while a guitar could provide offensive boosts, with Bards being masters of multiple instruments. A Bard character’s singing style could even change based on whichTiny Tina’s Wonderlandspersonalityplayers choose, allowing them to hear a lot of different music when playing as the music-focused character.
As far as the Bard’s abilities are concerned, it makes sense for the class to shine in co-op and focus on buffing allies. Perhaps players could swap outTiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ spellsfor some musical notes, and playing said note would result in a buff to reload speed, movement speed, or critical damage. From there, an action skill that allows players to jam out with their lutes seems like a no-brainer, with players able to spam these musical notes for a short time.
Another Bard ability could take inspiration fromTorgueand his role inTiny Tina’s Wonderlands. One of the highlights of the campaign is seeing Torgue finally get his wish of blowing up the ocean, something that he was hoping to do back inTiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. To accomplish this, Torgue summons a barrage of missiles out of nowhere, with the rockets floating behind him and being launched at the sea. A similar action skill could be a lot of fun to use in combat, with gamers summoning the missiles by playing some music and then launching them at their foes.
WithTiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ unique brand of humor, a Bard class seems too perfect to pass up on. If it is not added to the original game through DLC, it should absolutely be something Gearbox introduces through aTiny Tina’s Wonderlandssequel. Though it could primarily be a comedic class, it would also be hugely beneficial when traversing The Wonderlands with a group. A class entirely focused on buffing allies and increasing specific abilities would simply be a blast to use, and with the Chaos Chamber buffs already existing for Gearbox to re-purpose as Bard abilities, it is easy to imagine such a class becoming a big hit with fans.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
