The White Bird’s Guidance Shrine Quest Walkthrough
Laissa tellsTotKplayers that she saw the green glow of a shrine somewhere in a nearby cave, and it’s up to Link to find the cave’s location. The Rito woman gives players a hint as to how to find the cave, but it requires players to reach the tippy top of Rito Village and then wait until sunrise to spot it. However, we did that for readers already, so we canshow you the cave’s locationto speed up this shrine quest.
Where is the Cave?
The cave in question,West Lake Totori Cave, is directlynorthwest of Rito Village. Its coordinates are roughly -3955, 2029, 0201. Readers can see the location on the map above.
Wao-os Shrine Walkthrough
Once Link enters the cave shrine, they will be met with a ball, a half-circle shape, and a square box. There are also two large circular targets across a chasm –players will need to hit both of these targets by using the ‘diving board’ esque platform on the edge of the area the Shrine starts at.
The easiest way to get this shrine done is tograb the half-circle shape with Ultrahand and place it on the front of the plank, away from the edge. Attach it with A and then place the ball inside the half-circle shape to act as a sort of catapult–but don’t attach the ball to it, or else it’ll just stick and won’t launch towards the targets.

Now, use the heavy metal box, lift it in the air with Ultrahand, and then drop it on the end of the plank to send the ball flying to the target. Don’t lift it all the way up, though –just enough so the ball will hit the lower circle.
Once it’s hit, a nearby shutter will open, allowing Link to grab a long wooden plank. Attach the wood to the front of the wooden board where we stuck the half-circle. This will make the entire plank a little longer –so now, take the half-circle again and attach it to the front, and put the ball inside it again. Same process here, but this time, lift the metal box as high as it can go before dropping it on the plank.
And to finish the shrine, players can just launch themselves into the air by standing where the ball was placed. Make sure tofloat over with the paragliderto the platform on the right to grab the secret chest containing aSpicy Elixir, which grants eight minutes ofhigh-level warming effect to Link to survive cold weather.
