Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Gearbox’s latest looter-shooter, is coming on March 25th. Ahead of its official launch, Gearbox has finally revealed the overworld map that players would be venturing into soon inTiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Inspired by tabletop RPGs,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis essentially a sequel toBorderlands 2’s Assault on Dragon Keepexpansion, which itself is also heavily influenced byDungeons & Dragons and the likes. The game is set in a fantasy-themed fictionalized world, with the whimsical Tiny Tina basically acting as the Dungeon Master of the game.

The map was revealed via an unboxing video of the Treasure Trove collectible box uploaded by the official Instagram account ofTiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Similar toTiny Tina’s WonderlandsSpecial Edition Crate, this fancy collector product also features several items and game-related merchandise, such as a plush doll, a papercraft booklet, tarot cards, a standalone module, as well as a complete physical map of the game that is made of cloth.

In a screen grab posted by Reddit user DaPlanetErf, fans can see the entire world that the game takes place in. Aptly called The Wonderlands, the fictionalized continent includes 14 different regions (not includingChaos Chamber dungeons that will serve as endgame content): Brighthoof, Crackmast Cove, Drowned Abyss, Karnock’s Wall, Mount Craw, Ossu-Gol, Queen’s Gate, Shattergrave Barrow, Snoring Valley, Sunfang Oasis, Tangledrift, The Fearamid, Wargtooth Shallows, and Weepwild Dankness.

The map reveal adds a few new areas to the ones on the official game guide provided by Gearbox. Some regions presumably comprises smaller zones, as the guide explains that the game also features several caves and dungeons, not to mention locations that are not labeled on the physical map (the aforementioned Chaos Chamber, Dreamveil Overlook, and Castle Sparklewithers). As for the many empty spaces on the map, it’s safe to assume that these might bethe overworld area in between the larger regionsthat is played from a top-down perspective and is filled with random encounters.

Compared toBorderlands 3’sworld that spans over four different planets, the world inTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsmight seem smaller and more linear. However, some fans might argue that it doesn’t necessarily be a bad thing, especially considering that both games adopt a very different approach in letting players explore the world. The smaller map also seems to fit perfectly with Gearbox’s plan tofocus on replayability than story expansionsfor the game’s DLC offerings.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsreleases on March 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
