From sweet rolls to the Sleeping Giant Inn, players have spent years creating and sharing clips of these items and places. In the latest example of this, oneSkyrimplayer showed off an in-game glitch they tie to the addictive in-game potion Skooma.
Skyrimwas released in 2011 and is thefifth main installment in theElder Scrollsseries. The game takes place 200 years after the events of the previous game,Oblivion, and casts players as the Dragonborn. Skooma is a potion produced from moon sugar in the game, and it gives players bouts of euphoria.

This wild clip comes fromSkyrimplayer Da_snacc. In their clip, they show a dead Alchemist in a cage. While this is traditionally a normal sight in the game, this figure is flipping, flopping, and rolling all over the interior of their small prison cell as if they were possessed. The player watches this really odd scene unfold for quite a while and the Alchemist just continues to move in an incredibly glitchy way. By the end of the clip, Da_snacc decides they have seen enough, and they close the door to the cage. The theory they share on this post points to this Alchemist having turned to one ofSkyrim’s most memorable narcotics: Skooma.
Skooma is a highly addictive potion that can be found at random inthe world ofSkyrim. It can appear in chests at bandit camps and is often sold by Khajiit caravans throughoutSkyrim,though it is unlikely to be the source of this weird behavior. While the player’s explanation is funny, this clip is the creation of some minor glitch in the game.
Glitchy moments inSkyrimcan lead to hysterical moments such as this, making a playthrough even more enjoyable for players. Small glitches can add levity to the more serious moments in the game and can actually be a bonus for some of the game’s community as long as they don’t cause crashes.
When glitches becomegame breaking forSkyrimplayers, however, they can easily become frustrating. Broken physics, spawning underground, and mods causing crashes all take players out of the game. Either way, this glitch provides a humorous moment for allSkyrimplayers to enjoy.
