Summary
A talented 3D artist recently blended the worlds of LEGO andThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and even the developers behind the classic RPG have taken notice. The Witcher 3: Wild Huntearned widespread acclaim when it was first released in 2015 and is considered by many to be one of the greatest video games of all time. It continuesthe story of Geralt of Rivia, a gruff-but-noble mutant monster slayer searching for his adoptive daughter Ciri - who in turn is being targeted by the titular Wild Hunt.
While the previous twoWitchergames are well-regarded in their own right,The Witcher 3’s blockbuster success helped propel the franchise into the mainstream eye - eventually leading to Netflix’s live-actionThe Witcherseries and a host ofupcoming spin-off games from developer CD Projekt Red. One of these projects is a full-on remake of the originalWitchergame, which will allow players to re-experience Geralt’s earlier adventures with the upgrades and improvements thatWild Huntbrought to the series.

In the meantime, a LEGO-centric digital artist and Twitter user by the handle of BrickPanda recently shared a series of images depictingThe Witcher 3in the style ofTraveller’s Tales’ line of LEGO games. Characters like Geralt, Ciri, and even their bard companion Dandelion are all rendered as cute minifigures as they reenact scenes from the game. Not only have fans shared their approval of these impressive 3D renderings, but the officialWitcherTwitter account shared a few of them on its own page.
While LEGO and video games often click together in the form of games or crossover sets, an official collaboration based onThe Witcherseems incredibly unlikely. While the Danish building toy franchise has produced sets based on adult properties for older collectors, most of its gaming crossovers have been forfamily-friendly titles likeSuper MarioandSonic the Hedgehog. This hasn’t stopped fans from imagining LEGOfied versions of titles likeHalf-Life 2andAssassin’s Creed, games that might not fit the mold of LEGO’s typical tie-ins.
A LEGOWitcher 3game might not be among CD Projekt Red’s list of upcoming titles based on the works of Andrzej Sapkowski, but BrickPanda’s collection of LEGO images could easily pass for promotional art for one of Traveller’s Tales’ block-filled collect-a-thons. The fact that the officialWitcherhandle has noticed and shared their work on its own account makes things even more impressive, and many fans would gladly toss a coin (or stud) for an actual LEGO/The Witcher 3crossover featuring minifigures of Geralt and Ciri doing what they do best.
The Witcher 3is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
