WithElden Ringbeing one of the most popular titles of 2022, it is no surprise that it has received a few demakes.
The latestElden Ringdemake comes from YouTuber 64 Bits, who has previously made other nostalgic gaming videos such as showing what acrossover betweenMass EffectandAdvance Warswould look like. Now, they’ve created a short video showing what the Lands Between would look like on an SNES. Even with only around 90 seconds of footage, this demake is highly impressive, as it completely reimaginesElden Ringfor the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

A 16-bit graphical style replacesElden Ring’smore modern look, beginning first from a top-down perspective before switching to a sidescrolling point of view when the player is depicted fighting through some of the game’s areas. The map is traversed not as an open world, but instead the player runs over the actual map that can be opened inElden Ring. Of course there are clips of boss fights as well, something that noElden Ringfan creation would be complete without.
Radahn features for a short moment, and the space the player fights him in is covered with an atmospheric red cloud. Malenia also features, and her fight looks just as difficult as it is in the realElden Ring. Even with all this impressive content, 64 Bits has stated that the video is just that, and there is no intention of making a full demake ofElden Ring. No doubt fans will be disappointed by this news, but there areotherElden Ringdemakesthat are planned to be playable, such as one featuring the style of the original Game Boy.
There have been a number ofElden Ringdemakes shared with fans since the game’s release, with one fan departing from the SNES look and showing what the game would look like in a PS1 style. Other FromSoftware games have received the demake treatment as well in recent times.Bloodborneeven got a fully playable PSX recreation, and some speedrunners have beaten all the bosses in under 15 minutes.
