One craftyThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer managed to build an impressive laser wrestling ring allowing them to take on some unlucky enemies in an entertaining way. They promptly took online to share their clever creation, having done so shortly before Nintendo revealed twonewZeldaamiibo figurines based onTears of the Kingdom.

One of the biggest new mechanics thatTears of the Kingdomintroduces toThe Legend of Zeldafranchise is Ultrahand, an ability that allows Link to construct a wide array of machinery and structures using whatever he encounters in the overworld or digs up out of his inventory. And while some players immediately started pushing the limits of this system by building incredibly convoluted machines such asTransformers-inspiredTears of the Kingdommechs, many others opted to use this newfound power for pure shenanigans.

The latest such Ultrahand application comes from Reddit user Kenju_TE, who recently took to social media to share aTears of the Kingdomwrestling stage using two rows of Zonai Beam Emitters in place of traditional ring ropes. In order to demonstrate how well this design works in practice, the player shared a brief gameplay clip showing their shirtless Link in a WWE-like Radiant Mask defeat two unfortunate Bokoblins with some help from the makeshift ring itself. The video went viral on Reddit, amassing over 3,400 upvotes and dozens of comments expressing their amusement at this “freak show,” as one user put it.

And though the creation is fairly effective at containing Bokoblins, it’s not likely to be of much use when it comes to some of themore dangerous enemies inTears of the Kingdom; most other creatures can take a lot of punishment from the Zonai Beam Emitter, and there’s also a decent chance for such enemies to get knocked out of the ring if they connect with the lasers near one of its corners. Furthermore, some of the biggest land threats in the game like Lynels can both jump over the Zonai Beam Emitters and run through them, assuming they don’t first destroy them.

Nevertheless, this particular wrestling ring concept still has some room for improvement, with one fan suggesting the end result could be even more entertaining if the Bokoblins were hit with a Muddle Bud—one ofTears of the Kingdom’smost potent weapon fusion items—that would cause them to fight each other. Following up on that suggestion, another user proposed dropping mushroom sticks on the ground for the trapped fighters to use. For clarity, fusing a mushroom to a weapon inTears of the Kingdomcreates a weapon that’s similar toBreath of the Wild’sSpring-Loaded Hammer, which send enemies flying.
