An avidThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer creates a unique laser cannon that’s capable of following Link around on his adventure. Players may create their own laser cannon by using a specific trick that changes the Ultrahand ability’s pull on objects withinThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Despitethe lack of post-launch DLC forZelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players continue to explore Hyrule and share their discoveries with others online. Glitches and other oddities may prove to be useful for those wanting to create elaborate machines and devices, since Link’s Zonai abilities have a few limitations regarding item placement. For instance, some objects found in Hyrule, including the Zonai stabilizer, may only be attached at certain points.

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer crazy_Dd123 recently completed a floating laser cannon that follows Link and fires at nearby enemies with devastating firepower. The battery-powered machine was built fromitems found in Zonai device dispensers, and it lifts off the ground with Zonai fans attached to a cart. At the center of the cart, a tower was built on top of the big battery in order to power the laser cannon, which is made up of beam emitters and a normal Zonai cannon. The machine wouldn’t be able to follow the player without the use of the “ghost glue” glitch, however. This particular Ultrahand glitch causes the cart to be pulled toward Link’s shield without actually making contact with the item.

Before using the ghost glue glitch, players must first talk to a certain Lookout Landing guard after completing the Wind Temple orFire Temple inZelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Two NPCs will appear in Riverside Stable after speaking to the guard, and Link may talk to them while standing on top of a Zonai object. After the dialogue ends, the Zonai object that Link was standing on can no longer be directly moved with the Ultrahand ability. Fortunately, this object can be moved if Link attaches more objects and pulls on those objects instead. In some instances, objects that are attached to the one affected by the ghost glue glitch will orbit around it, since the glitch creates a constant pulling force between the respective objects.

TheZelda: Tears of the Kingdomcommunity appears to be pleased with crazy_Dd123’s creation, as it brings more attention to the ghost glue glitch and its strange effects on objects. Players can use the glitch to create even more elaborate machines that can be guided by Link, and the possibilities for new creations seem endless. Fortunately, this helpful glitch likely won’t be addressed in an update, since Nintendo seemingly ceasedgame updates forZelda: Tears of the Kingdomin August 2023.
